MARKET UPDATE
We are pleased to announce that Luton Indoor Market will temporarily open on the revised operation of Tuesdays – Saturday (daily) between the hours of 9:00am – 3:00pm.
We will re-open on TUESDAY 19TH MAY 2020 for essential traders, as identified by the government and approved by Environmental Health.
We appreciate the value markets have within our community; we fully support the initiatives taken by our smaller, neighbouring markets that have been able to operate during these times. We are also keen to learn from them in order to put similar measures in place (but on a larger scale) to maintain the safety of our traders and customers whilst adhering to distancing guidelines, here at Luton Market.
As such we have now put social distancing measures in place throughout the Market and request that you adhere to the action required:
- We have restricted access points of entry and exit to and from The Mall and car park – please read our signs carefully
- We request that all children under 16 are accompanied by an adult and that you consider whether their attendance on your visit is necessary
- Traders have also established their own guidelines in for customer safety at their units– please respect these guidelines
- We do NOT have any toilet facilities available
We will continue to review our service delivery to ensure that our Market remains safe for the community it holds.
